New Testament and Theological Reflection
Paul teaches New Testament and enjoys assisting people to understand and apply the message of the New Testament in an accurate and relevant way. He is also responsible for church placements for ordinands and independent students, encouraging them to integrate their studies with the life of their church. He taught religious studies at a secondary school in Essex before working for the Religious and Theological Students Fellowship, part of UCCF.
Paul's PhD examined alleged inconsistencies in Pauline eschatology. He is Secretary of the Tyndale Fellowship (an evangelical biblical research organization) and also chairs Theology for All, a subset of the fellowship which encourages biblical scholarship to serve the church. He is an elder of High Barnet Baptist Church.
Paul is married to Sarah and they have four sons, who are being encouraged to take up their father's interest in football, cricket and opera.
