Programmes of study

Oak Hill aims to provide the best possible training for gospel ministry. We want you to increase your knowledge of God and his Word, and develop your ability to share that knowledge with people around you. At the same time, we want you to mature as a Christian and show Christ to others in all that you say and do.

We offer the following programmes:

Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE) Theology
One year full-time or two years part-time

Foundation Degree Arts (FdA) Theology
Two years full-time or four years part-time

Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) Theology
Three years full-time or six years part-time

Master in Theology (MTheol) Theology
Four years full-time or six years part-time

Master of Arts (MA) Theology
One year full-time or two years part time

Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) Theology
One year full-time or two years part-time

Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) Theology
One year full-time or two years part-time

Within the CertHE/FdA/BA (Hons) Theology programmes, students will specialise in one of three disciplines:

Theological and Pastoral Studies – biblical training for work across a range of ministries including church leadership

Theology for Crossing Cultures – biblical training for cross-cultural mission

Theology and Praxis for Children's and Youth Ministry – theology and practice for youth and children's leaders
